Use of ICT in the Teaching as Teaching Learning Materials

It was milestone in the field of teaching to use ict
in my class PP lesson. The topic was on “Names of Animals”. The main objective
of the lesson was to know the names of different animals that have seen by
themselves.
In the lesson I used the ict basically to show the
students the pictures of animals. Before the lesson I browsed internet,
selected best examples and saved in my smart phone. During I explained each
group of animals and show pictures save in the smart phone were limited examples
were provided in the text book. It
benefited a lot to covey clear information on through pictures. Student could
directly differentiate by looking at the pictures.
On other hand
it saves the time and resources as I need not draw the teaching learning materials.
However I took little time while showing the pictures to groups as I used only
one phone. The school does not have adequate ICT facilities, it really
challenging despite ict have immense impact on teaching learning.

Good used of teaching aids for your lesson. I know that you are teaching name of animals in PP class but when I go through your article I can also see you are talking about plants. Please kindly check your article ones more.

ReplyDeleteDispite the lack of materials, you could use ICT in the class and on top you could make your children understand the concept. Keep going sir. There is nothing is impossible, only thing we should have is the willingness to work.
ReplyDeleteIt brings real life while using ICT as a teaching learning materials. Your children will have an opportunity to see what they haven't seen before like the size, color colour and the shapes. So ICT has advantages. You have used good pictures which is the power tool for students to remember in their later life.

ReplyDeleteDespit many hardship you have done a great job. It is one innovate way to deliver a lesson."If there is a will there is a way." Nothing is impossible for willing heart. Congratulation sir. As mentioned it consumes time but if it is beneficial for the learners we should not bother about time. Teaching concept is more important than just teaching. It may not be possible la. Just my feelings la. How about borrowing phones from the friends? I think they will give you as you are using for good purpose. But at the same time you need to becareful as they may miss handle and break the phones. Keep going la.
